Midland Memorial Hospital's voluntary participation with outcomes-focused programs such as National Surgical Quality Improvement Program (NSQIP) is helping Midland Health lead the way in bringing best-practice health care to serve the Midland community.
This voluntary program allows ACS NSQIP hospitals to report surgical performance measures on the CMS hospital website. More than 600 hospitals across the nation participate in the program and report their performance indicators, allowing comparison of the hospitals' surgical performance. Midland Memorial Hospital participates in the NSQIP program, and as a result, they are seeing impressive improvement in their surgery quality of care.
