I need to post some files to get them onto Facebook's Compassion in Healthcare group so while not entirely relevant to the group they may be of interest and I need to upload them somewhere and figured this aws as good a place as any.

That was a wonderful article! Of course I think I would be joy-full too if I could be in New Zealand right now! (I've wanted to go to NZ for a long time and hopefully some day I'll be able to make it there) We really don't emphasize finding joy in our everyday pursuits and we need to...just think of how much the average person puts into their work. At work I am known as the "Polly Anna" because I can always find something good in almost any situation. I find that if I share my attitude with my coworkers, a little bit rubs off and things lighten up a little. So I am all for "Joyology" :)

Never heard or saw the term "Joyology" before. Made me :). Does this positive thinking stuff apply to making healthcare better and safer? Well, imagine a system driven by the serious notion that each one of us has a right to safe, high-quality care that promotes both health and joy. Hmmmm........
