IPRO, the Medicare Quality Improvement Organization (QIO) for New York State, will be hosting a one hour teleconference on Tuesday, December 7, 2004 at 1:00 PM EST.
The topic of discussion will be Influenza. Charles Stimler, MD will be presenting on immunization protection for long-term care residents and employees. The discussion incorporates information on flu prevention, spread, and treatment. A Q&A session will follow.
We recommend this program for all caregivers, but more specifically for the following staff members: Administrators, Medical Directors, Infection Control Staff, Directors of Nursing and Quality Improvement Personnel.
