All long term care wound care nurses in Suffolk County, NY, are invited to participate in the monthly meetings of the Suffolk County Long Term Care Wound Nurse Association. We meet the second Tuesday of every month, 1 pm, in the Board Room of the Long Island State Veterans Home, 100 Patriots Rd, Stony Brook NY 11790. We meet to network, discuss current issues in pressure ulcer care and prevention, discuss new wound care products and treatments...in short we get to talk about all those "awful" things that most people don't want to hear anything about! (Especially our families, who have learned over the years to never ask us "what did you do at work today?") So please come and join us for an interesting afternoon. :)
