Creating and Implementing Hardwired Safety Tools for Critical Care Teams
At the completion of this teleconference participants will be able to:
State the definition of "Hardwired Safety Tools;"
State the benefits of using tools to hardwire effective teamwork behaviors on critical care teams;
List the critical action steps to conduct a Hardwired Safety Tools Workshop to create and implement safety tools;
Discuss examples of Hardwired Safety Tools and state how each Tool hardwires a desired behavior;
State the key leadership action needed to successfully implement a Hardwired Safety Tool;
Revise Policy and Procedures Manual guidance to support the use of Hardwired Safety Tools
