2006 vignette (http://webmedia.ipro.org/jeny/hanys/KeyProcessSimulations/CriticalCareRounds/VAP_Vignette.wmv)simulates a critical care rounds approach for setting daily patient goals in URMC-Strong Memorial Hospital's Medical Critical Care Unit.

Patient rounds lasted < 6 minutes
Checklist and protocols utilized throughout the process
Each participating staff "advocated for their patient care" areas (Examples: Respiratory Therapy for weaning, Nursing for nutrition and family support)
Note: Team has since implemented more mobility protocols!
