The following fact sheet can be used to help determine if a patient has an allergy to an antibiotic. Please feel free to distribute this sheet to nurses within your health care setting. It is the first in a series of fact sheets for nurses from the National Surgical Infection Prevention Project. We will post subsequent fact sheets as they become available.
