Attached is a useful pocket card in facilitating the appropriate selection of VTE prophylaxis by type of surgery. The document includes two cards per sheet. Once printed each card can be folded and laminated. Hospital's can use the pocket card and distribute it to abstractors, staff nurses, and physicians.
